2007 Itasca Sunstar Questions

I recently purchased the Class A motor home above and know very little about motorhomes. There was so much explained to me at the time of purchase, I probably remember half. I would like anyone who may own this RV answer questions about the generator use and house batteries.

Oil changes

New to the forum. I see a lot of mis-information as far as oil for RV's. Here is a little info for you. If you drive your RV all of the time, then synthetic oil would be a good choice for you. MOSt of us don't. I see people questioning changing oil before storage for winter. Here is the deal. Oil is dinosaur juice. Not very good as a lubricant by itself. Additives make it suitable for our use. When the manual say's to change the oil every six months, it seems like a waste if you haven't…

No tv sound when playing a dvd

I have a 2017 Winnebago vista lx 27n and when playing a dvd in the Pioneer dashboard system to watch it on the bedroom tv, the sound comes from the overhead speakers in the front of the rig and not from the tv in the bedroom. Any suggestions on how to turn off the sound in the overhead speakers and hear it just from the bedroom tv? (Tried Winnebago help line but to no avail).
